Harvest School of Missions Semra Cetin

Hi Dear Friends! My heart is very excited for the coming months… God has been speaking to me and directing me to do the Harvest School of Missions (https://www.irisglobal.org/missions/harvest/ ) in Mozambique as a big stepping stone for the calling He has on my life.

I will be there for about 9 weeks from the beginning of October. I will be serving alongside missionaries and learning from those who have much wisdom to share about their lives and ministries. The missions base is also home to hundreds of orphans, so we will be loving-on these children whenever possible! The weekends will have us hopping on the back of a flatbed truck and driving for up to 12 hours to the “bush-bush” to minister to the locals in the remote villages.

I will also be going to India for 3 weeks as an extended mission trip after the school. We will go to Delhi and Calcutta pouring out love on the street kids and the poor in the slum districts and ministering to girls and women who are trapped in the sex-trade there.

I need your prayers more than anything! Please pray for God to strengthen me; do a work in me so that I am able to love the way He loves and that the fruit will be plentiful! Pray for ears to hear and eyes to see the truth of the Gospel whoever I come in contact with!

I have worked hard to save money towards this mission school and the trip. I managed to pay for my flights. But I still need some more funding to cover the tuition fees, visas, medicine and practical living costs while I am out there.
